Test ride a Sommer Saddle before you order.

Call us to arrange for a demo saddle.
The purpose of the demo program is so that you can verify the quality and comfort of the Sommer Saddle before you place an order. We would ask that you return the saddle no later than 5 days after receiving it, or sooner if possible. We offer free demo rides at events so you can check with us and see if there are any endurance events in your area that we will be attending. You can also have a demo saddle shipped to you.

Prior to shipping the demo, we will ask you for a credit card. You will be responsible for the round trip shipping costs of the demo, plus a 50 dollar demo fee. The demo saddles are not for sale. We will charge your card for half the cost of the saddle which will be refunded when you return the saddle, or applied to the purchase price of a new saddle if you decide to order. The 50 dollar demo fee will also be applied towards the purchase price of a new saddle.

We appreciate it if you send the saddle back within the 5 day allotted time period, so that we can send it to the next customer. Sommer usually takes about 4 - 5 weeks to produce a saddle from the time we place the order, and we think that is quite competitive compared to other custom made saddles available in the US.
